| About The Institution |
The Vidyalaya came into existence on 01.05.1963 when the scheme of Kendriya Vidyalayas was started by taking over 20 Regimental Schools, all over the country. This Vidyalaya is one of those 20 Regimental Schools taken over from the Army authorities and started as Central School under Central Schools Organisation with Headquarters at Delhi. Initially the school functioned in Army Barracks but now it has its own permanent building consisting of 46 rooms with spacious Play Grounds spread over an area of about 15 acres. The Vidyalaya is presently running in separate Primary and Secondary blocks located on the same campus.
